Zero forgiveness.
Each hole was designed in conversation with the terrain — the lava rock sets the line, the prevailing trade winds set the conditions, and the course architect set the punishment. Every shot decision is a negotiation you will lose at least once.

The Lava Spine
A dogleg left at 230 yards forces a carry over exposed basalt shelf. The green sits 87 feet above the tee box — club selection is academic until you account for the thermal lift off the rock face.
"You're not choosing between a 4-iron and a 5-iron. You're choosing between respect and humiliation." — Tour pro commentary

The Ridgeline
The hardest par-3 on the island. The green is 14 yards wide, perched on a ridgeline with a 200-foot drop on three sides. Wind changes direction twice during a full swing. There is no safe side.
"I've played Augusta, Pebble, Carnoustie. This green has a pulse." — Course reviewer, Golf Digest

The Caldera
The only downhill par-5 on the course plays into a volcanic bowl. The canyon walls create swirling variable winds — the same shot produces different results on every attempt. The longest hitters still face a 210-yard approach.
"The last time I made eagle here, I had no idea what I did differently. That's the point." — Amateur champion, 2024 Fairway Invitational

Your swing
as raw data.
The practice facility isn't a range. It's a diagnostic environment. Every session produces a data package you take home — ball flight maps, swing path overlays, and a prioritized technical change list from coaches who've worked tour schedules. The goal isn't to feel better. It's to score lower.

"I came in thinking I needed a swing fix. The TrackMan showed me I had a course management problem. By day three I was hitting the same shots but scoring five strokes better. The Lava Spine broke me twice before I cracked it on the last morning."
Broke 80 for the first time on Hole 14.
